I've been working on this project in dribs and drabs, since the last time I did a similar piece of work it took me way longer than I anticipated. Botanical illustration isn't really a focus in my portfolio, but it is something I enjoy and I have had botanical work published, so I felt like my portfolio could use an updated botanical piece. I spend a lot of time in the woods, which is why so much of my work ends up being woodland themed--so a poster featuring woodland flowers seemed the most apt!
