As a traditional linocut printmaker my work is created by carving a design into a block of artist's lino, which is then inked up and hand printed onto fine handmade paper. I have a passion for history and the natural world, and these subjects, along with food and folklore, feature heavily in my portfolio. I bring an extensive knowledge of UK wildlife and a love of research to both my personal practice and commissioned work, creating unique, dynamic, organic artwork that is always firmly based in a strong understanding of, and passion for, the subject matter.

Much of my inspiration comes from folklore, medieval manuscripts and art of the Anglo Saxon and Viking period, as well as the natural world. Growing up in the Forest of Dean ignited my passion for nature and continues to influence my practice.
