The Card Counter – Movie Poster
Personal Work ·When I was looking at the movies that were soon to be released, there were a couple of films that I was interested in. But this particular film really stood out to me for a few reasons: first its a revenge story, second its a thriller (which are two of my favourite genres) and lastly because it had a lot of interesting visuals that I thought would make a great movie poster. With this illustration I wanted to add a certain grittiness so I went with a dry-brush 1960's style for the portraits. I had a lot of fun with this personal piece and I'm really happy with the finished poster design.
