Jack and the Beanstalk – First Spreads
Personal Work ·My first two double page spreads of Jack and the Beanstalk. After working for years as an in-house designer, I realised last year that I had lost sight of my own unique style and voice. I decided to pursue children's book illustration as it had always been a dream of mine and started with the SVSLearn Children's Book Pro course. They provided the manuscript for a simplified version of Jack and the Beanstalk and I am working my way through the entire book to try to see how I feel about it and if it is something I want to pursue. I am really enjoying getting lost in this world, I only wish I could work on it full time! Here are the first two spreads that I am calling finished for now, although I may make small changes once the entire book is done. Hope you love them as much as me!

Hi, I'm Carrie-Anne, based in Greater Manchester, UK.
I have been specialising in gift product design for the past couple of years, but would love to expand into children's publishing and surface design too.
I have degrees in both illustration and graphic design so would be happy to take on projects that incorporate typography and layout design
