Amira the Sea Princess Children’s Book
Client: Erica Galloway ·A few months ago, I was chosen to illustrate this lovely underwater adventure. This is the second children's book I've illustrated so far and I was really excited about it. There were two things that I loved about this book: First, the theme - underwater - made it very different from the last one I illustrated. I immediately had this idea to play with watercolour-like splatters around the book, this made it really fun for me to play with spot illustrations and make them different. Second, I love mermaids! That's it. The character of Amira was really fun for me to create and work with as well. So, the book is officially out to buy on August, 20th, if anyone is interested in picking it out! 😊

I'm a freelance illustrator and I love anything with a hint of darkness and fantasy. I work digitally, but I’m also an experienced watercolour and gouache artist. Although I'm quite flexible as an artist, I do specialise in lineart (colouring pages, inking) and female characters. I also have experience working on Children's Books.
Testimonials
Patricia Pedroso is a brilliant illustrator. She's extraordinarily talented, creative and intuitive. I'm so proud of her work on our children's book, HOW DO YOU KNOW? She took my vision of the story and brought it into a beautiful, imaginative reality. Add to that, she's incredibly positive and easy to work with. I hope to be lucky enough to work with her again!
